We are currently seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support our warehouse operations by managing the flow of goods in and out of the facility. This role coordinates and executes daily shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying shipments, processing documentation, and maintaining organized inventory. Responsibilities include handling incoming shipments, preparing outgoing orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring compliance with company procedures. This position plays a key role in ensuring materials are received, stored, and distributed accurately while maintaining efficiency and timeliness across operations.


What You’ll Do

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or packing slips.
  • Unload, label, and store incoming materials in designated locations.
  • Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company and carrier requirements.
  • General and process shipping documents.
  • Coordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts or physical inventories.
  • Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to appropriate personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory or warehouse management systems.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment or willingness to be trained.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work overtime hours as necessary.
