About the Job
The Customer Service Representative delivers prompt, professional, and customer-focused support across multiple communication channels, including phone, live chat, email, and in-person interactions. This role requires excellent communication skills, a positive demeanor, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships while ensuring accurate and timely support.
Job Summary:
As a key point of contact for customers, the Customer Service Representative ensures seamless interactions by combining product knowledge, problem-solving, and a customer-first mindset. Beyond handling inquiries, this role supports daily operational tasks such as order processing, shipping coordination, and administrative responsibilities. Success in this position depends on adaptability, teamwork, and a strong commitment to delivering efficient, accurate, and high-quality service that enhances the overall customer experience.
Reports to: E Commerce Sales Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer and route incoming calls to the appropriate team members.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the product lines to provide effective customer support.
- Interact with customers via phone, email, live chat, and social media platforms.
- Assist retail customers with order pickups.
- Act as the primary contact for customer inquiries regarding products and services.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Communicate proactively with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate support and shipments.
- Provide administrative support for Amazon order processing.
- Print and organize shipping labels to ensure precise order fulfillment.
- Perform end-of-day responsibilities, including confirming tracking information for customers.
- Maintain strong organizational skills, time management, and a sense of urgency in daily tasks.
- Stay informed and adaptable to seasonal, existing, and emerging trends.
- Support additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn new software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and customer-focused demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines and ensure shipment accuracy.
- Ability to lift 50–60 pounds as needed.
- Team-oriented with effective conflict resolution skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining accountability for individual tasks.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
Preferred:
- Associate’s degree.
- Familiarity with agriculture or the agricultural industry.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms.
