Plant Operator (Casual)

PGG Wrightson Seeds is one of New Zealand's leading processors of seed and grain products for the arable industry. The business operates throughout New Zealand and Australia and provides products and services to arable growers, livestock producers and to food and feed manufacturers.

We’re looking for a casual Plant Operator to join our team on an as-needed basis to help during busy periods, especially harvest. This is a hands-on, practical role suited to someone who’s reliable, safety-focused, and keen to get stuck in and support the team.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the team with the intake, drying, and storage of grain
• Supporting daily plant operations and site housekeeping
• Operating and checking machinery (training provided)
• Recording grain movements and maintaining basic documentation
• Assisting with bagging and manufacturing as needed
• Following site health and safety procedures

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team, this is a great opportunity to gain experience in the agricultural industry. While prior experience in plant operations or a similar role is advantageous, it is not essential. We provide comprehensive training to ensure your success in this role.
