PGG Wrightson Seeds is one of New Zealand’s leading processors of seed and grain products for the arable industry. Operating throughout New Zealand and Australia, we provide quality products and services to arable growers, livestock producers, and food and feed manufacturers.
We’re currently seeking a competent and energetic Plant Operator to join our Operations team in Te Awamutu. In this hands-on role, you’ll play a vital part in the efficient drying of harvested grain and the manufacturing of added-value grain products.
Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain grain-handling and drying equipment
- Collect grain samples and carry out basic quality tests
- Accurately complete documentation and update inventory records
- Assist with bagging and packaging of grain products
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety protocols
We’re looking for a reliable and physically fit individual who enjoys practical, hands-on work and being part of a team. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail are essential. While experience in grain handling or machinery operation is an advantage, it’s not required—full training will be provided to the right candidate with a willingness to learn.
If you’re passionate about agriculture, eager to grow your skills, and ready to contribute to a successful team, we’d love to hear from you.
Why Work with Us:
