The Role
DLF Seeds is seeking a Sales Agronomist to join our team, based in either the Northern Rivers or Mid North Coast regions of NSW. This strategically important territory plays a key role in our ongoing success and is supported by an exciting pipeline of innovative products alongside a suite of proven, high‑performance offerings.
Reporting to the Northern Regional Sales Manager, you will work as part of a collaborative, high‑performing team within a strong and supportive company culture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing territory business plans to achieve agreed targets
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with retail partners, farmers, agronomists, consultants and industry groups
- Positioning the DLF Seeds brand and products as a leading science‑based organisation delivering value and productivity for customers
- Providing on‑farm agronomic support and delivering localised product demonstrations
- Positioning new and existing products to align with farm systems and identifying new growth opportunities
- Planning and coordinating technical agronomy activities to maximise awareness of DLF Seeds proprietary products among retailers, key influencers and farmers

Skills & Experience
Using your strong agricultural background and enthusiasm for the industry, you will proactively develop trusted relationships to grow the DLF Seeds business across the Northern Rivers and Mid North Coast regions.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Proven agronomic experience in a similar role within the agricultural industry
- Strong planning, organisation and time‑management skills
- An outcomes‑focused approach with a positive and constructive mindset
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a close‑knit team
- A tertiary qualification in agriculture (or similar), which will be looked upon favourably
- Equivalent practical experience is highly valued
- The ability to travel regularly as part of the role
