We are looking for a Sustainability Specialist to join our Sustainability team and help drive our ESG agenda across the organization. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues across functions and geographies to ensure strong sustainability governance, high-quality ESG data, and clear communication of our sustainability performance and initiatives.

We operate in 22 countries and supply customers in more than 100 markets worldwide. Through seeds and science, we develop resilient varieties that enhance productivity while reducing environmental impact.

Your Key Responsibilities & Impact:

  • Drive DLF’s CSRD gap analysis and contribute to ensuring robust compliance with CSRD requirements
  • Oversee maintenance and continuous improvement of global ESG data, reporting structures, and supporting documentation
  • Train and support international data contributors to ensure accurate, consistent, and timely ESG reporting across regions
  • Develop and contribute content for DLF’s annual sustainability report and other sustainability communication, ensuring clear and credible storytelling
  • Collaborate closely with Group Finance and support preparation for annual ESG audit processes
  • Contribute to communication of DLF’s products and solutions, highlighting documented environmental benefits and evidence-based impact
  • Actively participate in the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives across the organization and value chain

You will be part of the Sustainability function and report to the VP Head of Sustainability. DLF’s sustainability focus areas include climate, pollution, biodiversity, our workforce, and corporate culture.

We imagine that you:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working with sustainability, either in a corporate sustainability function or as a sustainability consultant
  • Possess solid experience with ESG reporting frameworks and implementation
  • Have a strong understanding of CSRD requirements and regulatory sustainability reporting
  • Bring practical experience with carbon accounting and/or biodiversity risk assessment – experience from the agricultural sector is a strong advantage
  • Have strong communication skills and enjoy translating complex sustainability data and standards into clear and engaging content
  • Have an analytical and structured mindset, with the ability to turn regulatory requirements and standards into actionable insights
  • Work independently, are detail-oriented, proactive, and enjoy collaborating with stakeholders across functions and cultures
  • Are fluent in both Danish and English, written and spoken

The preferred starting date is as soon as possible.

You will be part of a workplace offering flexibility, opportunities for development, and dedicated colleagues — and where we succeed together. Our current headquarters is located in Roskilde, but will be relocated to a newly built head office in Smørum near Kildedal Station, with expected occupancy in the first quarter of 2026.

We look forward to hearing from you – here’s what you can expect
