Head of Procurement at DLF
Would you like to use your procurement leadership, expertise and experience transforming DLFs global procurement activities?
At DLF, we are looking for an experienced procurement professional for a newly established role heading up transformation of our global procurement activities. Based on our current local and operational procurement setup we are embarking on a journey to optimize procurement at global scale. The initiative is prioritized in our recently launched group strategy “Connecting to Grow”. The person to head up this journey should be an experienced procurement professional motivated by leading organizational transformation teaming up with stakeholders at levels globally to shape new solutions and create results.

You will be part of the Corporate Finance function reporting to the Group CFO. Supported by a business analyst you will work closely with the procurement teams in our 5 business units around the globe.
In this role, your main responsibilities will be:
- continuously set direction for global procurement linking the group strategy to business unit business plans
- streamline and standardize procurement activities in DLF with a strong focus on connecting efforts and capabilities across the group
- build prudent category plans and optimize DLFs procurement activities based on relevant data and analysis
- define, anchor and follow up on targets for DLFs procurement activities at global and business unit level
- lead larger projects targeting specific categories or suppliers
- drive capability building around procurement across DLF
- participate in governance of systems and applications related to procurement
- manage potential global supplier relationships
Operationally the facility manager for the new DLF headquarters will also report to you.
We imagine that you:
- have a minimum 10 years of experience as a leader or manager within procurement
- experience in strategic procurement, with a proven track record of managing complex sourcing initiatives and supplier relationships at a global level
- experience in organizational change within procurement, including standardization of processes, implementation of tools, and driving continuous improvement
- possess a strong tool box within all aspects of procurement and that continuous upgrade of this comes naturally to you
- possess excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills that foster collaboration, trust and followership
- have a strong analytical mindset and the ability to turn analysis into action and results
- have experience with working in a global matrix structure where collaboration across functions and geographies drive synergies and results
- possess the ability to and motivation for making a direct difference at both operational, tactical and strategic level
- are a team player that contribute to a collaborative, open and informal working culture
- are fluent in both Danish and English both verbally and in writing
International travel up to 15% is to be expected.
