Production Supervisor

Jensen Seeds A/S is an independent seed production company that has been owned by DLF since 2017.

Our primary goal is to be a competent and reliable supplier of high quality vegetable and flower seed to the seed industry.

We’re looking for a supervisor for our processing facility on our site in Lasserre de Prouille.  

As a part of the leadership team, our future colleague will have a key role in ensuring on-time and quality delivery of our seeds in collaboration with our teams internally. 

By optimizing the flow of communication between processing and relevant stakeholders, she/he has the job of securing the seed flow post-harvest until export. 

Her/His main tasks will be:  

• Supervise the daily operations in production in order to guarantee efficiency
• Management of a production team in order to best develop them
• Management the maintenance of equipment, buildings and infrastructure
• Coordinate reception of seeds and their transformation following the established calendar and quality standards
• Assure management of industrial waste
• Ensure security of our teams
• Create and follow-up on KPIs for production
• Establish budgets and investments while working with the Finance department
• Work with internal and external teams and our international teams in order to optimize production
• Ensure fluid communication and regular reporting

Profile: Who are you? 

• Significant experience in a similar job in an industrial environment, ideally in the agricultural sector
• A previous experience, and motivation for leadership, in order to motivate and develop our teams
• Capability to work autonomously while collaborating with different departments.
• Excellent use of Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Navision would be ideal)
• Professional English is needed in order to work with our international teams
• We are looking for someone who is able to adapt, analyze and resolve problems in a fast-paced environment.
