CDL Driver

General Description: The CDL Class B driver will be responsible for transporting products from distribution centers to customer locations, conduct pre/post trip inspections, and load/unload products from delivery vehicle to desired locations.

Job Summary

The Driver is responsible for a wide variety of warehouse/distribution activities including, loading, and unloading trucks, transporting products and conducting safety inspections, and having great customer service while delivering our product. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspect loaded truck for accuracy of order, compliance with weight restrictions, and proper securing of load.
  • Safely deliver our product in a timely manner to our customers
  • Load Outgoing Company Vehicles for Delivery
  • Monitor receiving paperwork – double check paperwork matches what is received
  • Assist Customers at time of delivery if needed   
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Perform DOT-required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Maintain accurate records for submission to fleet office
  • Other Duties as assigned
  • Monday - Friday schedule – (Home every night) 
  • Overtime available during peak shipping seasons
  • Year round work available



  • Education & Experience:  Minimum of high school degree and one to three years of relevant driving experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Wisconsin Class B license with air brake certification.
  • Having reliable transportation to and from work


  • Safe and conscientious driving skills 
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to provide quality service to customers using clear communication skills.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements including: a variety of standing, sitting and walking throughout the day; repeated twisting at the torso while lifting and pulling inventory from truck; regular lifting of up to 50 pounds
  • Fueling the truck and keeping it clean and organized
  • Able to work in a friendly team atmosphere
