PGG Wrightson Seeds is part of the global DLF Group, servicing both New Zealand and international markets. We work across the entire seed journey from research and development through to production, processing, and on-farm support supplying high-quality seed to arable growers, livestock producers, and food and feed manufacturers.
PGG Wrightson Seeds is now seeking a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Coordinator, your role in our People team will be promoting our strong safety culture by ensuring we are engaging all workers in meeting and maintaining health and safety compliance to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Monitor and maintain our health and safety reporting system - Safetynet (Assura One).
- Support all business teams on health and safety related matters including: Event reporting and investigation, corrective actions, injury management, hazard and risk management contractor management, meetings, training and emergency response.
- Participate in the development of safe operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct health and safety audits of operational sites nationally – some travel required.
Skills and Experience:
- A commitment to and demonstrated interest in Health and Safety
- An experienced administrator, the ability to pick up systems with ease.
- Have, or be studying towards, a safety, health or wellbeing qualification
- Excellent communication both written and verbal
- Ability to work as a team player and contribute positively to an organisation
