DLF is a global seed cooperative headquartered in Denmark, with PGG Wrightson Seeds as a subsidiary in New Zealand and DLF Seeds in Australia. We service local and international markets, encompassing all facets of the seed market, from research and development through to seed supply and on-farm support.
We are looking for an exceptional individual who is eager to take a step into their Marketing Career. Our Christchurch-based Marketing team is now looking for a motivated individual to join the team in a key full-time role to assist with marketing activities across New Zealand.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Developing, coordinating and implementing marketing campaigns, sponsorship initiatives and other tasks associated with supporting the business.
- Developing promotional and advertising material.
- Working closely with the Marketing Manager, Business Unit Managers, Brand Managers, and the wider marketing team
- Attending and supporting exhibitions across New Zealand
- Development and execution of social media content across our social media platforms.
- Delivering marketing communication and sponsorship initiatives.
As part of the role the Marketing Coordinator will work closely with a New Zealand Business Unit which will include interactions with PGG Wrightson Seeds staff, customers, other marketing staff and outside agencies to deliver all materials and activities.
Skills and Experience:
- A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or a related discipline (desirable).
- Ideally 12 months of proven experience in marketing, advertising, or communications, ideally within the agribusiness or primary sector.
- Strong skills in web content management and social media platforms.
- Ability to provide practical marketing advice and services to a range of stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
