International Shipping Coordinator

PGG Wrightson Seeds is the largest proprietary seed company in the southern hemisphere.

We service both New Zealand and global markets, encompassing all facets of the seed market, from research and development through to seed supply and on-farm support.

PGG Wrightson Seeds is seeking an International Shipping Coordinator.

An opportunity is available for an experienced shipping coordinator, strong administrator OR a recent graduate with a supply chain or related qualification who is passionate about the shipping, export & import industry.

About the role and requirements:

• We ship seed all over the world - you will be part of a dedicated team working to international vessel schedules. 
• Great team player - ready and willing to lend a hand. Accurate data entry and strong admin skills are a must.
• Strong numerical skills and analytical skills, a competent level of computer literacy and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of the agricultural, freight forwarding, transportation or logistics industry is advantageous.

Ideally the candidate will possess several years' experience in the shipping and export industry, although we will consider applicants with an appropriate graduate qualification. Salary is commensurate with experience, and we will pay accordingly. 

To be successful in the role you will be a personable team player and will have the flexibility to work across several business divisions.  You will also have the ability to learn complex information quickly and apply this knowledge throughout all facets of the role.  This role is crucial to ensuring our international clients receive the highest level of customer service possible.
