Export Administrator

PGG Wrightson Seeds is the largest proprietary seed company in the Southern Hemisphere, servicing New Zealand and global markets. We cover every stage of the seed journey – from research and development through to production, supply, and on-farm support.

We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Export Administrator to join our International team in Lincoln. This is an exciting opportunity to help deliver New Zealand’s world-class seed to global customers by ensuring export shipments are coordinated accurately, efficiently, and on time.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll provide administrative and logistical support to our International Trading team—managing export documentation, liaising with customers, brokers, and internal teams, and ensuring compliance with international trade and phytosanitary requirements. You’ll play a key part in moving New Zealand seed to global markets accurately and on time.

• Coordinate and track export activities with shipping and site teams to meet deadlines.
• Prepare and manage export documentation, including compliance testing and phytosanitary approvals.
• Liaise with customers, brokers, and international traders to ensure smooth, timely exports.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and complete customer files.
• Contribute to reporting requirements and support continuous improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma or degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or equivalent export/logistics experience.
• Background in export operations, ideally within the seed industry or wider agriculture.
• Strong knowledge of MPI export processes, customs regulations, and phytosanitary standards.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. Navision, SAP) and invoice reconciliation tools such as Continia.
• High computer literacy, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• A proactive, customer-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
