Accounts Administrator - Accounts Receivable (Fixed-Term)

Lincoln, Canterbury - On site in Office role. 

PGG Wrightson Seeds is looking for an experienced Accounts Administrator - Accounts Receivable to join our Oceania Finance team at our Pākākano, Lincoln office on a fixed-term basis until at least 29th January 2027.

This fixed-term role is available to start immediately. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, learn quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and add value from day one.

About the role

In this fixed-term role, you will support the Finance team with day-to-day Accounts Receivable tasks, including receipting, payment allocation, customer account reconciliations, and responding to customer enquiries.

• Process customer receipts and allocate payments accurately.
• Investigate unallocated cash, short payments, and account discrepancies.
• Assist with reconciliations, credit notes, sundry invoices, and month-end tasks.
• Support Accounts Payable and Grower Payments processing as needed.

About you

You will bring previous experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Administration, or a similar finance role, along with strong attention to detail, good Excel skills, and the confidence to work in a busy team environment. Ideally you have worked in temp / contract positions before in large NZ businesses and have the ability to learn systems and processes quickly. You will be available currently at short notice or immediately. Experienced with ERP systems such as Navision, SAP or Oracle is desirable.
