Sourced from leading international breeding programmes, Corson Maize hybrids undergo extensive multi-year evaluation and testing before being introduced to the market — and the results are speaking for themselves.
With strong market growth and increasing demand, we are looking to appoint an experienced and passionate Sales Agronomist to service the West & South Waikato region (Hamilton through to Taumarunui).
About the Role
Reporting to the National Business Manager, this sales-focused position is ideal for a motivated and energetic individual who thrives on building trusted relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering practical technical advice to farmers, retailers, consultants, contractors, and key influencers.
You’ll work with both new and existing customers to promote Corson Maize hybrids and seed treatment products, contribute to regional sales growth, support demonstration and trial site development, and provide retailer training and canvassing to strengthen market capability.
What We’re Looking For
- Sales experience, preferably within the agricultural sector
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to plan, prioritise, and manage daily and weekly activities
- Solid understanding of maize production and broader farming systems
- A proactive, positive, and results-driven approach
