Plant Operator

PGG Wrightson Seeds is one of New Zealand’s leading processors of seed and grain products for the arable industry. Operating across New Zealand and Australia, we provide quality products and services to arable growers, livestock producers, and food and feed manufacturers.

We’re looking for a competent and energetic Plant Operator to join our Corson Maize team in Gisborne. In this hands-on role, you’ll play an important part in processing and distributing seed products, working within a motivated and supportive team. If you enjoy machine operation, take pride in your work, and communicate well with others, this could be the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain seed processing plant, machinery, and equipment
• Assist with warehousing, distribution, and forklift operations
• Complete documentation accurately and meet compliance standards
• Support quality control by monitoring processes and handling samples
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment

We’re seeking a reliable, practical individual who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a team. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and attention to detail are essential. Previous experience in machinery operation, warehousing, or seed/grain handling is an advantage, but not required — full training will be provided to the right candidate.
