Inventory Coordinator

DLF Seeds is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to join our Forbes operations team. This is a hands-on coordination role responsible for supporting accurate inventory records, stock movements, stocktakes, incoming goods and general inventory administration across the site.

Reporting to the Site Manager, this role will work closely with operations, planning, production, customer service, sales, growers, suppliers and transport providers to ensure inventory information is accurate, current and clearly communicated.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

  • Maintain accurate inventory data in Navision or similar ERP systems
  • Support cycle counts, monthly stocktakes and inventory checks
  • Coordinate incoming goods from growers, suppliers and other company sites
  • Assist with reducing aged, surplus or out-of-spec inventory
  • Support seed testing, production orders, purchase orders and inventory reporting
  • Liaise with internal teams and external providers to support efficient site operations
  • Contribute to a safe, positive and well-organised working environment

About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, detail-focused and practical, with experience in inventory, supply chain, warehousing, administration, agriculture or a similar operational environment.

You will bring:

  • Practical experience in inventory coordination, supply chain, warehousing, administration, agriculture or a related operational environment.
  • Confidence using inventory and business systems, ideally NAV or a similar ERP system.
  • Sound Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Good planning, organisation and time management skills.
  • The ability to investigate discrepancies, follow through on actions and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A positive, reliable and flexible approach, with the ability to work constructively as part of a team.
