About the role:
PGG Wrightson Turf is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our Auckland-based team in Māngere Bridge, South Auckland. This position is based at reception and is ideally suited to someone who enjoys engaging with customers and supporting a busy, collaborative team.

This role will suit someone who is friendly, proactive, and customer-focused, with the confidence to communicate with a wide range of people each day. An interest in turf (or the wider horticulture/agri sector) would be an advantage.

Duties & Responsibilities:

As one of two Customer Service Representatives based in Auckland, you will provide end-to-end customer support for turf seed and non-seed products. You will work closely with customers and Territory Managers to confirm product availability, process orders accurately, and coordinate with our customer service and distribution teams to ensure a consistently high level of service.

You will relay seasonal information to customers regarding product availability and any supply constraints. You will also liaise with freight providers, the warehouse team, and our delivery driver to keep orders moving and ensure everyone has clear, up-to-date information.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven customer service and administration experience, with the ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally
• Professional phone manner and strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Competent with Microsoft Office and confident working across internal systems and databases
• Experience using Navision (or a similar ERP system) is desirable, but not essential
• Strong numerical skills and the ability to learn product information quickly
• Experience coordinating with freight providers and/or warehouse teams is an advantage
• An interest in turf, turf management, or the wider horticulture/agri sector
