PGG Wrightson Turf, located Mangere Bridge, now have a parental leave cover role available for a Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator. (12 months) 

 

Essential information;

This role is 5 days a week in the office. Flexibility for family, life admin duties is given however as this role is in a retail setting, customer facing there is no availability for hybrid working. 

 

About the role

This position will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by coordinating logistics, managing orders, and handling inquiries in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver with a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for logistics and customer service.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries face, to face, phone and email
  • Advise customers of seed availability, pricing, and process orders & returns into Navision
  • Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions, and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers by delivering excellent service
  • Coordinate sales orders and deliveries, ensuring timely and cost-effective logistics operations.
  • Liaise with warehouse and drivers to track order status and resolve any issues.
  • Monitor inventory levels and work with the warehouse team to ensure stock availability
  • Provide reports on delivery schedules, stock levels, and customer service performance.
  • Work closely with the sales, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure alignment on customer orders.

 

Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in customer service, logistics, or supply chain coordination.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems, CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.
- Knowledge of logistics processes and regulations is an advantage.
