PGG Wrightson Seeds is part of the global DLF group, servicing New Zealand and global markets. We cover every stage of the seed journey, from research and development through to production, supply, and on-farm support.
PGG Wrightson Seeds is one of New Zealand's leading processors of seed and grain products for the arable industry. The business provides products and services to arable growers, livestock producers and to food and feed manufacturers.
We are now seeking enthusiastic team member for a key role at our site based in Ashburton on a 12 month Fixed Term Basis.
As a Plant Operator you will:
- Machine operation for seed processing and packing
- Seed dressing and preparing seed for customers
- Collect and file samples of all products produced.
- Complete All relevant documentation.
- Forklift Operation
This role is critical to producing high-quality products and maintaining our reputation for reliability and innovation.
Skills and Experience
- Knowledge in machinery and/or farming is desirable
- Forklift Certificate may be an advantage but is not essential (training will be provided).
- Great attention to detail
- A can do, positive attitude
