📦 Job Summary

The Production Warehouse Worker plays a crucial role in supporting warehouse and production operations by performing a variety of tasks that ensure production goals are met efficiently, safely, and with a high level of quality. This position involves order selection, equipment operation, and general material handling within a fast-paced environment.

🔧 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Material Handling & Movement: Unload and load shipments, store products in designated areas, and retrieve items for shipping or internal use.
• Stock Management: Perform inventory counts, assist in restocking, track material movement, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Packing & Labeling: Securely pack items per guidelines, label packages for shipping, and ensure proper documentation.
• Equipment Operation: Operate tools such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified and required by the position).
• Workspace Maintenance: Keep work areas clean and orderly; follow safety procedures and report hazards.
• Production Line Support: Operate on the production line with consistency, speed, and accuracy.
• Verify product accuracy using Production Dump Sheets.
• Report quality issues to the Line Lead or Warehouse Manager as needed.
• Order Selection & Staging: Select and stage orders accurately for processing or shipment.
• Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks related to seed or product handling and packaging.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all verbal and written instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols.
• Additional Duties: Assist with other duties as assigned.

🧰 Required Skills & Qualifications

• Physical Ability: Safe to lift items—often up to ~50 lbs—stand or move throughout the shift.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow procedures accurately.
• Time Management: Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume setting.
• Basic Skills: Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Equipment Experience: Familiarity with pallet jacks, RF scanners, or basic warehouse software is preferred.
• Safety Awareness: Adherence to safety protocols, proper handling techniques, and forklift certification where applicable.
• Dependability: Reliable and able to perform repetitive tasks.
• Overtime: Ability to work overtime as needed.
