We have an exciting opportunity for an Agronomist (early career or Graduate) to join our team in South-West Victoria, supporting both customer success and the continued growth of the DLF Seeds business. 

This role provides sales support to our retail customers while working alongside our Technical Services team to deliver reliable product data, practical agronomic insight and strong customer outcomes. You will join a collaborative, values-led team that offers hands-on learning, high standards and the opportunity to grow in a commercially focused environment. 

Reporting to the Southern Regional Sales Manager, your key areas of responsibility will be: 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and rural retail partners across South-West Victoria 

  • Support customers with practical agronomic advice, product knowledge and responsive service 

  • Contribute to regional sales performance and business growth in a high-performing environment 

  • Plan and manage regional trials and demonstration sites to generate reliable product data 

  • Analyse trial results and translate findings into practical, commercially relevant insights 

  • Deliver field days, training and extension activities that showcase product value and technical expertise 

  • Work collaboratively across sales, marketing and technical teams to support successful product delivery 

Skills required: 

  • A qualification in Agriculture, Agronomy or a related field will be highly regarded 

  • A background in farming, pasture-based agriculture or the dairy industry, with sound on-farm understanding 

  • A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to balance priorities 

  • A practical, positive and customer-focused approach, with the motivation to learn and grow in a high-performing environment 

  • Ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative team 

  • Willingness to travel regularly across the region
